2022-Present: Ph.D. Student in Acupuncture for Dental Medicine, FMDUP

2024-2025: Postgraduate student in “Adequate Nutrition and Homeostasis Maintenance” with Prof. Lair Ribeiro, São Paulo, Brazil

Academic and Professional Experience:

2004-2019: Faculty Member at the University Fernando Pessoa, teaching Oral Anatomy, Oral Physiology, Dental Occlusion, and Integrated Clinic

Founder and Director of the course “Acupuncture for Dentists”

Lecturer in the Advanced Sleep Medicine course at the Catholic University of Portugal’s School of Medicine (Lisbon)

2020-Present: Member of the General Council of the Portuguese Dental Association, responsible for the “Acupuncture in Dental Medicine” clinical competency
