Abstract

Neglected silent inflammation in the jawbone activates the CCL5/CCR5 axis in breast cancer

Breast cancer (BC) is a leading cause of death in women worldwide.
Chemokines such as CCL5 help tumours to shape the inflammatory
microenvironment. Overall, chronic inflammation is an important factor in
tumour progression. There are numerous studies showing the importance of the CCL5-CCR5 axis activated in the context of breast cancer.

The author links this knowledge to what happens in the case of CCL5
overexpression in bone marrow defects and fatty degenerated osteonecrosis of the jaw (BMDJ/FDOJ) in breast cancer patients. Poor wound healing in the jawbone with increased production of CCL5 strongly suggests a crucial role for CCL5 in BC.

– Could the underestimated BMDJ/FDOJ harbour this “silent CCL5-expressing
inflammation”?
– Thus, could BMDJ/FDOJ contribute to the epistemology of BC from the perspective of osteoimmune interactions?

Clinical cases of the author`s clinic demonstrate that elevated levels of CCL5 derived from the mishealed BMDJ/FDOJ areas that act as reservoirs of CCL5 and qualify as a comorbidity in BC epistemology. As a conclusion reduction of CCL5 expression in BMDJ/FDOJ bone marrow defects by “Jawbone Detox®” is a contribution to BC in therapy or prevention.

Unfortunately overexpression of CCL5 in BMDJ/FDOJ is poorly visualized by radiographic techniques, whereas it is easily detected by intraoral ultrasound of jawbone density.

Maria Carmo-Fonseca is a Professor at the University of Lisbon Medical School and a Group Leader at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM). A co-founder of the Institute for Molecular Medicine (iMM), a leading biomedical research institute affiliated with the University of Lisbon, she has played a pivotal role in advancing biomedical research in Portugal. From 2011 to 2013, she was a Visiting Professor at Harvard Medical School. Professor Carmo-Fonseca is a distinguished member of several prestigious organizations, including the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), the Portuguese Academy of Sciences, the Portuguese Academy of Medicine, and Academia Europaea. She served as President of the RNA Society (2021-2022), a global organization dedicated to RNA research. She was also an editor for the Journal of Cell Science from 2009 to 2023 and currently serves on the editorial board of the RNA journal. Her research is focused on RNA biology and gene regulation, with a particular interest in understanding RNA splicing in the context of human disease.

About

Dr. Thomas Rau M.D. studied medicine at the University of Berne, the leading medical school in Switzerland, and passed the final medical examinations in the USA in 1976. He began his career in rheumatology, internal and general medicine. Working as a conventional physician from 1981 to 1992 and also concurrently as medical director in a Swiss Clinic for rheumatology and rehabilitation medicine he treated patients with various degenerative disorders. During that time, Dr. Rau first began to notice, as he quotes, that “with classical medicine, my patients weren’t getting better”. Therefore, he embarked on his mission to create a new system of medicine which effectively helps patients to recover their health. He focused on natural therapies, particularly homeopathy and dietary changes where patients treated with these therapies had been seen to recover. Using such therapies, he found his own patients began to show remarkable progress. Dr. Rau became a lifelong student of alternative medical methods, including Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, as well as the great holistic practitioners of the Swiss and German traditions. He studied with the leading European practitioners of his age, and gradually formed his own theory of restoring health to his patients based on detoxification, nutrition, digestion and strengthening of the immune system, which he named Swiss Biological Medicine. Dr. Rau has formed and built up a number of institutes with the central theme being Swiss Biological Medicine. He treated his patients, from 1981 to 1992, in an independent practice. At the same time, he was medical director of the “Kurzentrum Bad Walzenhausen”, a rehabilitation clinic for patients with cardiac and rheumatic problems. Additionally, Dr. Rau worked as a doctor in a drug rehabilitation center from 1983 to 1992. Since 1997 he has been actively involved in building up partner clinics in the US, Switzerland (the Clinica Paracelsus Al Ronc), Malaysia, Vietnam and Cyprus. He is a member of numerous medical societies and was a founder, and until 2008 a board member, of the Biological Medicine Network, USA. One of his biggest projects was the Paracelsus Clinic Lustmühle, where Dr. Rau was medical director and part owner from 1992 to 2020. Dr. Rau is still, in his heart, very much a doctor treating his patients, but it has become increasingly important to him that his growing knowledge and expertise is widely disseminated. Colleagues and partners who understand the benefits and the importance of Biological Medicine turn to Dr. Rau to learn this art and build up their skills. Through his long-standing teaching activities in seminars and public talks, Dr. Rau has become more and more involved in the international scene in this field. The demand for academic teaching increased so significantly over time that additional education programs have been regularly held for a number of years and will be further developed and enhanced. Bridging Specialties: The Role of Dental Practices in Comprehensive Cancer Treatment

Our work is to support the body for the purpose of preventing internal diseases, including cancer. We also wish to support the patient at all levels when he or she undergoes vigorous cancer treatment, and to continue helping them after the treatment, so they can recover as fully as possible. Basically, we work as a supportive treatment to benefit the patient at many different levels.

One keystone of our treatment is deep relaxation, which is the opposite of the tension most modern people feel all the time. It can be easily seen in the global pandemic of insomnia, heart disease, stomach upset, and many others. To our amazement, we have sometimes even seen tumors disappear as a result of bodywork and relaxation. One specific way our exercises help is by reducing chronic stress.

If stress causes us such harm, then why do we have it in our life? There are many reasons, and one of them is that we have an autonomic nervous system that is built for surviving the wilderness. It served us as humanity for two millions years, but our lifestyle is now much different than our ancient ancestors, and therefore it is time to change our mindset and be wary of our “fight or flight” response.

In the past, we assumed that people were naturally relaxed, and only become stressed when there is a danger or perceived danger that triggers the sympathetic response, known often as fight or flight. One such danger could be the possibility of a physical fight with another human, attack by wild animals, or excessive exposure to the elements. The stress response was immediate, the body’s response was immediate, and then relaxation naturally returned. Animals function on a similar system.

These days, the stress is long term. Because of that, we never are able to completely relax.

Being “keyed up” in this way is not something our nervous systems are capable of handling in a healthy way, and that can lead to real imbalances between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.

In our exercises, we mimic stress response with constriction of our smooth muscles and sphincters, and intentionally bring up a great deal of tension. This is followed by letting it go completely. This has a profound relaxing and regenerative effect on the nervous system.

We also do many movements that improve circulation. Circulation is perhaps the most important factor in someone’s recovery from serious medical intervention.

Meir Schneider overcame congenital blindness and developed an original self-healing approach of exercises to improve vision and increase brain flexibility.

Meir was born with congenital cataracts to deaf parents. He underwent five unsuccessful surgeries that left him with massive scar tissue. He was raised reading Braille until he discovered eye exercises at the age of 16. That helped him to develop vision, from 1% to 70%.  Now he can read, write and drive.

Through his own healing journey, developing his vision exercises, Meir discovered that the same principles, by which he gained functional vision, could also be applied to the entire body and to other people. Therefore, he developed his own regimen of bodywork and movement to complement the visual exercises and a new pathway to overall health.

In 1980, Meir founded the School for Self-Healing, a non-profit center in San Francisco, California, that offers educational programs, teaches people to realize their potential, to improve their health and overcome their disabilities. He teaches classes in Brazil, Israel and in many other countries.

The integration of root-cause analysis methods in dental practices is critical for enhancing patient care, particularly for cancer prevention and management. This scientific approach highlights the significant role of oral health in systemic disease, emphasizing its impact on cancer pathways. Dental interventions that prioritize cellular health can improve systemic outcomes and influence oncology patient care.

Oral-systemic health interconnectivity is crucial, with dental pathologies potentially serving as precursors or accelerators of oncological processes. Research illustrates that oral microbes and associated inflammatory responses can propagate systemic inflammation, affecting distant organ systems and modulating cancer risk and progression. The use of medical devices aimed at enhancing cellular health, combined with dietary and lifestyle modifications, represents a holistic strategy in dental care to mitigate these risks.

Holistic dental practice, encompassing a multidimensional health perspective, stresses the significance of oral health in systemic disease management, including cancer. Summary
From an early age, I developed a strong affinity for nature and a deep respect for the well-being of
living organisms. These values, including the importance of clean water, a healthy environment, and
the sanctity of life, have been integral to my character, requiring no persuasion or elaborate reasoning.
Even during my high school years, I was determined to pursue a career in caring for people and their
physical health. Over the years, my experiences have exposed me to diverse cultural and medical

local boundaries. Valuing personal health and well-being greatly, I have actively contributed to the
development of the holistic dentistry concept at the Maha Clinic since 2013. This endeavor aligns with
my enduring childhood inclinations and complements the comprehensive approach of the Maha
Center and the nutritional focus of Maha Bistro, all collectively dedicated to fostering a healthy future
for individuals. My academic journey started at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, complemented by
in-depth research on dental materials during my doctoral work at the International Postgraduate
School of the Jožef Stefan Institute. This research culminated in the development of a groundbreaking
bioactive mixture, certified and introduced to the dental profession just before the global pandemic.

University Medical Doctor Dr. Johann Lahodny obtained his PhD in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1965. He is also certified as a General Practitioner. He was the head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the State Hospital Gmünd and at the Regional
Hospital St. Pölten from 1976-1987. He is the inventor of numerous gynecological surgical techniques. In 1994, he became a Professor with lectureship at the University of Vienna. He is the author of 77 research papers and books.
In 1999, he received the Award for the professional title Medical Officer of Health. From 1999 to 2003, he is a Board Member of the American Society for Vaginal Surgery.

In 2009, Amit started a movement called Quantum Activism, now gaining ground in North and South America (where he has founded Quantum Academy), Europe, and India. At the same time, he has established the Center for Quantum Activism (CQA) with headquarters in USA.

In 2019, he and his collaborators established an educational wing of CQA called Quantum Activism Vishwalayam (Home of the World), acting as Department of Quantum Science at the University of Technology in Jaipur, India, and developed a Master and PhD program in Quantum Science of Health, Prosperity and Happiness, an international program of transformative education.

Goswami has written several groundbreaking popular books based on research on quantum science and consciousness, amongst them, Quantum Integrative Medicine, Hero’s Journey Quantum Style, The Quantum Brain, The Return of the Archetypes, Quantum Spirituality, and The Re-enchantment of the Reality You Live (all of these, with Valentina R. Dr. med. Henning Saupe (M.D.) was born in 1964 in Laupheim/Germany.
He completed his medical studies at the University of Ulm/Germany from 1986 to 1992. He received his license to practice medicine in 1992. In 1995, after successfully completing his doctorate in psychotherapy, he was awarded the title of Dr. med.
In 1996 Dr. Henning Saupe also received his Swedish license to practice medicine and worked for 10 years in Stockholm as a general practitioner with an interest in naturopathy, Anthroposophic Medicine and holistic cancer therapy. From 1997 to 2006 he served as a board member in the
Swedish Association of Anthroposophic Physicians. In January 2005 he founded and opened the “Arcadia Clinic” in Stockholm, the first hyperthermia clinic in Sweden specializing in oncological
hyperthermia.
In 2006, he founded the Arcadiaclinic in Kassel, Germany, which he expanded in 2009 to include additional therapies.
In June 2014, he opened the new Arcadiaclinic in Bad Emstal, Germany, with guest rooms for up to 12 in-patients . Since then, Dr. Henning Saupe has served as medical director of the clinic with a team of 25 employees including 3 medical doctors.

Awards and memberships:

Since 2005, Dr. Henning Saupe has given regular lectures in Scandinavia (Stockholm, Oslo, Gothenburg, Malmö and Copenhagen) and in 2019 for the first time in the USA on the topic of “Holistic Cancer Treatment”.
In 2007 September he was awarded the “Professor Olof Lindals Prize for Complementary Medicine” at the House of Parliament in Stockholm for his “merit in introducing medical hyperthermia to complementary medicine in Sweden”.
He was a key note speaker at the Annie Appleseed conferences in West Palm Beach FL and at the „Beljanski- winning the war on cancer conference“ in Jacksonville Oct. 2023.
In March 2023 he was nominated to join the „Holistic Leadership Council“ in the USA.
He is a member of the ICHS (International Clinical Hyperthermia Society) and the DGO (German Society of Oncology).
In November of 2021 his book „Understanding cancer and treating it holistically“ was published in German. The English translation came out under the title: „Holistic Cancer Medicine“ in November 2022 by ChelseaGreen, and the Dutch translation came out in summer 2023.
