Magda Siqueira is a prominent figure in Brazilian dentistry, with more than three decades of experience. Graduated from the University of Alfenas MG in 1989, she specialized in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry from UNESP Araraquara, SP. Magda’s commitment to holistic care led her to specialize in Nutritional Adequacy and Maintaining Homeostasis. Member of the Ozone Therapy Session of the Regional Dentistry Council, she is also an International Speaker on Ozone Therapy and Biological Dentistry. Magda led the implementation of Ozone Therapy in the Dentistry of the City Hall of her city, São Carlos. Her lectures at prestigious events and her role as coordinator at FACOP highlight her dedication to the advancement of dental therapy and patient well-being.

Ana Paz, DDS, MS graduated in dentistry from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Dr. Ana Paz always had it on her mind to conciliate the clinical activity and the scientific research. While attending the university, she was active in the research group. Dr. Ana did the thesis of her master’s degree in Endodontics, publishing a study titled the, “Evaluation of Postoperative Pain After Using Bioceramic Materials as Endodontic Sealers”.

Dr. Ana completed a Posgraduation in Advanced General Practice in the University of Lisbon, and a Posgraduation in Forensic Medicine in the Criminal Study Center in Madrid, Spain.

Currently, Dr. Ana works as a dentist in White Clinic, a high technology advanced dental clinic based in Lisbon, with a interdisciplinary team that treats from simple to full mouth complex cases, most of them planned digitally. She also runs the scientific research and development department, publishing articles in national and international magazines and journals.

Dr. Ana Paz is an active member of the Digital Dentistry Society, since dental technologies are her passion.

Short Biography

University Medical Doctor Dr. Johann Lahodny obtained his PhD in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1965. He is also certified as a General Practitioner. He was the head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the State Hospital Gmünd and at the Regional
Hospital St. Pölten from 1976-1987. He is the inventor of numerous gynecological surgical techniques. In 1994, he became a Professor with lectureship at the University of Vienna. He is the author of 77 research papers and books.
In 1999, he received the Award for the professional title Medical Officer of Health. From 1999 to 2003, he is a Board Member of the American Society for Vaginal Surgery.

From 2000-2005, he was the President of the European Society of Pelvic Surgery. In 2002, he was awarded the Honorary Membership of the Italian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Lahodny is an expert in bioresonance, Vitalfeld, oxygen, Tachyonentherapy and darkfield microscopy.
For three decades, Dr. Lahodny used all his vacation time to conduct research on complementary, alternative medicine therapies. Hence, he combines a very strong clinical and academic training with a passion and deep knowledge of alternative therapies. He has self funded the most ground-breaking research on the effect of the High Dose Therapy (L1)
affects the mitochondria and stem cells.
From 2010, Dr. Lahodny has focused on the ozone therapy he developed: high dose ozone major autohemotherapy. About

Dr. Thomas Rau M.D. studied medicine at the University of Berne, the leading medical school in Switzerland, and passed the final medical examinations in the USA in 1976. He began his career in rheumatology, internal and general medicine. Working as a conventional physician from 1981 to 1992 and also concurrently as medical director in a Swiss Clinic for rheumatology and rehabilitation medicine he treated patients with various degenerative disorders. During that time, Dr. Rau first began to notice, as he quotes, that “with classical medicine, my patients weren’t getting better”. Therefore, he embarked on his mission to create a new system of medicine which effectively helps patients to recover their health. He focused on natural therapies, particularly homeopathy and dietary changes where patients treated with these therapies had been seen to recover. Using such therapies, he found his own patients began to show remarkable progress. Dr. Rau became a lifelong student of alternative medical methods, including Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, as well as the great holistic practitioners of the Swiss and German traditions. He studied with the leading European practitioners of his age, and gradually formed his own theory of restoring health to his patients based on detoxification, nutrition, digestion and strengthening of the immune system, which he named Swiss Biological Medicine. Dr. Rau is still, in his heart, very much a doctor treating his patients, but it has become increasingly important to him that his growing knowledge and expertise is widely disseminated. Colleagues and partners who understand the benefits and the importance of Biological Medicine turn to Dr. Rau to learn this art and build up their skills. Through his long-standing teaching activities in seminars and public talks, Dr. Rau has become more and more involved in the international scene in this field. The demand for academic teaching increased so significantly over time that additional education programs have been regularly held for a number of years and will be further developed and enhanced. Abstract

Neglected silent inflammation in the jawbone activates the CCL5/CCR5 axis in breast cancer

Breast cancer (BC) is a leading cause of death in women worldwide.
Chemokines such as CCL5 help tumours to shape the inflammatory
microenvironment. Overall, chronic inflammation is an important factor in
tumour progression. There are numerous studies showing the importance of the CCL5-CCR5 axis activated in the context of breast cancer.

The author links this knowledge to what happens in the case of CCL5
overexpression in bone marrow defects and fatty degenerated osteonecrosis of the jaw (BMDJ/FDOJ) in breast cancer patients. Poor wound healing in the jawbone with increased production of CCL5 strongly suggests a crucial role for CCL5 in BC.

– Could the underestimated BMDJ/FDOJ harbour this “silent CCL5-expressing
inflammation”?
– Thus, could BMDJ/FDOJ contribute to the epistemology of BC from the perspective of osteoimmune interactions?

Clinical cases of the author`s clinic demonstrate that elevated levels of CCL5 derived from the mishealed BMDJ/FDOJ areas that act as reservoirs of CCL5 and qualify as a comorbidity in BC epistemology. As a conclusion reduction of CCL5 expression in BMDJ/FDOJ bone marrow defects by “Jawbone Detox®” is a contribution to BC in therapy or prevention.

Unfortunately overexpression of CCL5 in BMDJ/FDOJ is poorly visualized by radiographic techniques, whereas it is easily detected by intraoral ultrasound of jawbone density.

Amit Goswami, PhD, is a retired professor from the physics department of the University of Oregon (1968 to 1997). He is a renowned pioneer of the new paradigm of quantum science based on the primacy of consciousness.

Summary
From an early age, I developed a strong affinity for nature and a deep respect for the well-being of
living organisms. These values, including the importance of clean water, a healthy environment, and
the sanctity of life, have been integral to my character, requiring no persuasion or elaborate reasoning.
Even during my high school years, I was determined to pursue a career in caring for people and their
physical health. Over the years, my experiences have exposed me to diverse cultural and medical
perspectives, while active participation in conferences has broadened my scientific insights beyond
local boundaries. Valuing personal health and well-being greatly, I have actively contributed to the
development of the holistic dentistry concept at the Maha Clinic since 2013. This endeavor aligns with
my enduring childhood inclinations and complements the comprehensive approach of the Maha
Center and the nutritional focus of Maha Bistro, all collectively dedicated to fostering a healthy future
for individuals. My academic journey started at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, complemented by
in-depth research on dental materials during my doctoral work at the International Postgraduate
School of the Jožef Stefan Institute. This research culminated in the development of a groundbreaking
bioactive mixture, certified and introduced to the dental profession just before the global pandemic.
Through these experiences and my exposure to traditional medical systems, I have adeptly combined
traditional and modern approaches to optimize health outcomes. I am grateful for the support of my
mentors and colleagues, as well as the contributions of our international partners, notably in

Raviv Peleg is a highly experienced integrative therapist and Shiatsu expert with over 25 years of specialization in pediatric care, oncology, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Bridging Specialties: The Role of Dental Practices in Comprehensive Cancer Treatment

Our work is to support the body for the purpose of preventing internal diseases, including cancer. We also wish to support the patient at all levels when he or she undergoes vigorous cancer treatment, and to continue helping them after the treatment, so they can recover as fully as possible. Basically, we work as a supportive treatment to benefit the patient at many different levels.

One keystone of our treatment is deep relaxation, which is the opposite of the tension most modern people feel all the time. It can be easily seen in the global pandemic of insomnia, heart disease, stomach upset, and many others. To our amazement, we have sometimes even seen tumors disappear as a result of bodywork and relaxation. One specific way our exercises help is by reducing chronic stress.

If stress causes us such harm, then why do we have it in our life? There are many reasons, and one of them is that we have an autonomic nervous system that is built for surviving the wilderness. It served us as humanity for two millions years, but our lifestyle is now much different than our ancient ancestors, and therefore it is time to change our mindset and be wary of our “fight or flight” response.

In the past, we assumed that people were naturally relaxed, and only become stressed when there is a danger or perceived danger that triggers the sympathetic response, known often as fight or flight. One such danger could be the possibility of a physical fight with another human, attack by wild animals, or excessive exposure to the elements. The stress response was immediate, the body’s response was immediate, and then relaxation naturally returned. Animals function on a similar system.

These days, the stress is long term. Because of that, we never are able to completely relax.

Being “keyed up” in this way is not something our nervous systems are capable of handling in a healthy way, and that can lead to real imbalances between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.

In our exercises, we mimic stress response with constriction of our smooth muscles and sphincters, and intentionally bring up a great deal of tension. This is followed by letting it go completely. This has a profound relaxing and regenerative effect on the nervous system.

We also do many movements that improve circulation. Circulation is perhaps the most important factor in someone’s recovery from serious medical intervention.

Meir Schneider overcame congenital blindness and developed an original self-healing approach of exercises to improve vision and increase brain flexibility.

Meir was born with congenital cataracts to deaf parents. He underwent five unsuccessful surgeries that left him with massive scar tissue. He was raised reading Braille until he discovered eye exercises at the age of 16. That helped him to develop vision, from 1% to 70%.  Now he can read, write and drive.

Through his own healing journey, developing his vision exercises, Meir discovered that the same principles, by which he gained functional vision, could also be applied to the entire body and to other people. Therefore, he developed his own regimen of bodywork and movement to complement the visual exercises and a new pathway to overall health.

Dr. Moshe Frenkel is a clinical associate professor at the University of Texas and founder of the Integrative Medicine Clinic, at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston Texas where he served as a full faculty Associate Professor of Integrative Medicine until he returned to Israel in 2010. Dr. Frenkel is Board certified in Family Practice, earned his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel and completed his family practice training in a residency affiliated with Stony Brook University  in New York.  Prior to joining M.D. Anderson Cancer Center he was serving as a full faculty in University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and served as a key contributor to an NIH grant on integrating Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CIM) into the medical school curriculum, as well as providing CIM consultations to patients and families.

Up to 2014 Dr Frenkel was chairing the clinical practice committee of The Society of Integrative Oncology and was acting as the chair of The Israeli Society of Complementary Medicine (A section of The Israel Medical Association) until 2016.

In 2011 Dr Frenkel founded the integrative oncology service in the Oncology Institute in Meir Medical Center in Israel.  Since 2019 Dr Frenkel moved to be the medical director of the Complementary and Integrative Medicine Service in RAMBAM Medical Center Oncology Department, a comprehensive oncology center and the largest in Northern Israel.

Valentina is a practicing physician, a pioneer of quantum integrative medicine, specialized in Family Medicine. Dr. André Santos is a clinical oncologist with specialized training from the Metabolic Medical Institute, USA, and the Swiss Biological Medicine Academy, Switzerland. Currently, he serve as a clinical oncologist at the Center for Integrative Oncology and Prevention (COIP/SP) and is pursuing advanced studies and research at UNICAMP. Dr. André is also a professor in the Postgraduate Oncology Program at UNICAMP, focusing on metabolism and cancer.
